WOW It’S NOW

Arctic Pilgrimage

June 20-30th, 2024

“The truth is: the natural world is changing. And we are totally dependent on that world. It provides our food, water and air. It is the most precious thing we have and we need to defend it.”

– David Attenborough

You are here because you are listening to a quiet call. A call to the wild and the midnight sun.

We got the call too.

It has been a dream of ours to go to the Arctic and bring friends and luminaries magnetized to this pilgrimage to change the dream of the modern world.

Guided by the Indigenous leaders of the Sapara tribe of the Amazon Rainforest and the Sami Tribe from the Arctic, hosted by philanthropist and co-founder of Pachamama Alliance, Lynne Twist, Eduardo Castillo, Radha & Miki Agrawal, Sara Vetter, Bear & Katiyana Kittay, Eli Clark-Davis and our Daybreaker team, our mission is to open a new portal together

— moving from a culture of materialism to a culture of true belonging and right relationship to the planet.
This is our fourth and FINAL Wow It’s Now experience by Daybreaker

— where we traveled from the South of our planet: Antarctica — to The Nile River in Egypt taking over 10 temples privately — then to the Serengeti for the Great Migration— and now to the Arctic at the top of our planet to meet the ice, polar bears, reindeers, and maaaybe narwhals during Summer Solstice.

100 hand-picked entrepreneurs, artists, and leaders will be on the ship.

The ship sails June 20-30 and circumnavigates the Svalbard Arctic archipelago.

Very limited spots available. Save your spot and we’ll see you on the boat.

SVALBARD

Let’s meet the soul of the Arctic.

Sail from Tromsø through the wilds of Bear Island, where a full moon summer solstice ceremony awaits guided by indigenous tribal leaders from the Arctic & Amazon.

Onwards we circumnavigate the icy landscapes of the Svalbard archipelago. Marvel at the mystical glacial fjords such as Monacobreen Glacier, listen to Alkefjellet’s bird cliff, and take in Svingeldalen’s amazing views during the longest days of the year. Northwest Svalbard is where we may see Narwhals, unicorns of the sea.

We’ll celebrate Midsommer while cruising around Cape Lee and Hopen Island. Visit the world’s most important Global Seed Vault and feel the energy at Pyramiden.

All of this during the midnight sun, adding our WIN magic, curation and facilitation of cultural exchanges, salons, community connections, art-forward experience design, somatic, dance and spiritual activations.

Soundscapes from Arctic-indigenous musician, Snow Raven, as well as Eduardo Castillo, Madame Gandhi, & Sami joikers. We will only be doing this once.

Summer Solstice

Itinerary

Arrive in Tromso by the 19th (recommended) or by 2PM the 20th latest.

The Arctic gateway, Tromso at 69 degrees north, is renowned for the midnight sun in summer and the Northern Lights in winter. The Arctic Cathedral, with stained-glass windows, hosts midnight concerts. The Fjellheisen cable car offers panoramic views from Mount Storsteinen, while the historic centre features old wooden houses. The Polar Museum chronicles early polar explorations, and the thriving Alpine Botanic Garden adds to Tromso’s charm.

The greatest bird cliff in the Barents Sea is on Bear Island, or Bjørnøya, Svalbard’s southernmost island. Atlantic puffins, northern gannets, glaucous gulls, great skuas, black-legged kittiwakes, little auks, common guillemots, and Brünnich’s guillemots, nest on the steep cliffs near Kapp Kolthoff, south of Sørhamna. The ocean has sculpted sea stack rock columns, sea caves and tunnels, with a notable tunnel at Perleporten.

Svalbard is the kingdom of the polar bears, deep in the Arctic Circle, featuring varied polar landscapes and gargantuan glaciers. Beyond magnificent fjords in the north, the remaining sea ice serves as prime hunting grounds for polar bears. Closer to Longyearbyen, tundra and beaches replace snow and ice. Alongside 600 polar bears, this Arctic hotspot is home to walrus, Svalbard reindeer, ringed seals and arctic fox
Honningsvag is a small fishing community located in the far north of Norway and gateway to the legendary Nordkapp (North Cape), Europe’s secondmost northerly point. Breathtaking fjords and waterfalls surround Honningsvag, and areas of dense forest, all bathed in the mysterious summertime light of the Midnight Sun. The North Cape’s Midnight Sun is rightly famous – the sun never rises in winter nor sets in midsummer.
North Cape (Nordkapp), the northernmost tip of Europe in Norway, where the Arctic Ocean meets the rugged coast, is a majestic headland that has fascinated explorers for centuries. Cruising to North Cape promises an awe-inspiring encounter with nature’s grandeur and a glimpse into the Arctic’s captivating allure. In summer, North Cape basks in the ethereal glow of the midnight sun, a surreal phenomenon where the sun never fully sets.
Alta, the city of Arctic light at 70° N above the Arctic Circle, basks in the midnight sun from mid-May to late July, with no darkness, yet temperatures rarely exceed 10°C. The distinctive Alta Church, known as the Northern Lights Cathedral, symbolises the aurora borealis. Thousands of prehistoric rock carvings lie at the head of Alta Fjord. Hjemmeluft, the largest accessible area, hosts the World Heritage Rock Art Centre – Alta Museum.

Cabins
The way we see the world shapes the way we treat it. If a mountain is a deity, not a pile of ore; if a river is one of the veins of the land, not potential irrigation water; if a forest is a sacred grove, not timber; if other species are biological kin, not resources; or if the planet is our mother, not an opportunity — then we will treat each other with greater respect. Thus is the challenge, to look at the world from a different perspective.”
