A 7-night sailing exploring the Mamanucas and Yasawas
We have partnered with Dr. Filippenko for seven days sailing through the turquoise waters of Fiji’s Mamanucas and Yasawas. By day: white sand beaches, secluded lagoons, and vibrant coral reefs. By night: some of the clearest, darkest skies on Earth, both from the ship’s deck and remote island locations. With only 44 travelers aboard, you’ll actually get to ask your questions, use the telescopes, and learn about the cosmos with fellow enthusiasts who share your curiosity.

Today you’ll visit one of Fiji’s most iconic destinations: Malamala Beach Club, the world’s first island beach club.
Just a short boat ride from Port Denarau, Malamala Island is surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters and soft white sand. Spend the afternoon relaxing poolside, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying the laid-back luxury atmosphere that has made this island famous. Enjoy local and international cuisine and amazing cocktails with your $100 food and beverage voucher.
Optional experiences include snorkeling, water activities, or reserving a private cabana for the ultimate island escape. This half-day experience leaves Denarau at 1 pm and returns you to your hotel around 5 pm.

Unless stated otherwise, airport transfers, international flights, travel insurance, optional activities, spa treatments, and alcoholic beverages are not included. A detailed list will be provided prior to booking.
Do I need any special equipment?
No. All group stargazing equipment will be provided. You’re welcome to bring personal cameras, binoculars, or journals if you wish, but nothing is required to fully enjoy the experience.
Is this experience physically demanding?
This is a relaxed, accessible experience. Activities are designed to suit a wide range of fitness levels. Any excursions with physical requirements will be clearly outlined in advance.
Is this suitable for solo travellers?
Absolutely. Many guests join solo, and the experience is designed to foster connection, conversation, and community in a warm, welcoming environment.
What should I pack?
You’ll receive a detailed packing guide closer to departure. Generally, lightweight resort wear, a light jacket for evenings, comfortable shoes, swimwear, and curiosity are all you’ll need.
How do I get to Fiji?
Most international travellers connect via Nadi International Airport (NAN). Airport transfers are not provided or coordinated as part of your itinerary.
What about travel insurance?
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory and must cover medical expenses, trip cancellation, and interruption. Proof may be requested prior to departure.
What is the booking and payment process?
