Spacious, elegant, and adventure-ready, the World Explorer offers refined comfort with six tiers of deluxe accommodations. Each suite features a private walk-out or French balcony for uninterrupted ocean views. For our 20th anniversary, we are curating our absolute favorite haunts across the South Shetlands and the Peninsula. Picture massive glaciers, glowing blue ice, and endless snowfields. Glide through the waters and take in the royal grace of the icebergs, see the varied birds and seals, and maybe even the whales in their natural habitat under the supervision of experienced kayak guides, who will ensure your safety during each outing. In order to sign up for this activity you need to have previous kayaking experience, and attend a mandatory safety briefing by the Kayak Master.

We’re marking a decade of exploring Antarctica with this 9-night, 10-day journey. Come celebrate a decade of unforgettable moments and see what makes this place — and our community — so special.

The journey runs March 8-17, 2026, departing from and returning to Ushuaia, Argentina, via the ship World Explorer.
We recommend you to arrive in Ushuaia the night before if you can and enjoy the quant town, you will be added to a whatsapp group a few weeks before the event so this is a great chance to meet up with fellow travellers.
On the morning of the 8th there will be a luggage drop area so you can enjoy the town until boarding in the afternoon.
The 17th, for disembarkation we will be into port around 8am, so we recommend to book flights after 2pm incase there are any delays due to weather.

There are 150 guests on the boat and Insider Expedition’s event managers who will be hosting everyone and ensuring a smooth voyage.

A deposit is US $2,000 secures your spot. Final payments are due by 8 February 2026 in monthly installments, or  if you wish to pay in full by wire you can bypass any fees and surcharges.

All cancellations must be received in writing to Insider Expeditions to and will be effective upon date of receival.

Per person refunds are as follows:

Insider does not issue refunds. You are responsible for personal travel insurance. Under extreme circumstances, Insider reserves the right to
offer credit on a future Insider trip, however, this remains at the discretion of the
Insider Expeditions.

There will not be refunds for any unused portion of a travel booking. Suppliers may choose to
