Port do Soul is a dynamic guitar duo that emerged from the vibrant streets of Lisbon. They have crafted a unique sound by blending the rhythmic flair of fingerstyle percussive guitar with the soulful melodies of the traditional Portuguese guitar. Bandua is a forward-thinking duo that merges traditional Portuguese music with electronic elements, creating a fresh and unique fusion of sounds. Their music integrates ancient instruments and melodies with modern production techniques, resulting in an evocative and contemporary live set.

Magupi has traveled extensively to West Africa in a constant search for knowledge. His project is inspired by the rhythms he heard there, and his work is a fusion between balafon/marimba and synthesizers wrapped up around electronic music.

As you get ready for your voyage with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, we’ve gathered some helpful information about our travel policies and services for you. While the event ticket does not include air travel, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection can provide an Air & Hotel Concierge to assist you in making your air, hotel, and transfer arrangements to and from the yacht. Private jet service can also be arranged. Alternatively, we recommend that you use Google Flights to compare prices, flight times, and airlines to choose the most convenient and cost-effective option for your journey.

If air is booked independently, guests should be mindful of the arrival and departure times for each voyage. As a general rule, arrival day flights should arrive at least four hours prior to the yacht’s scheduled departure time. Departure day flights should not be scheduled less than four hours from the scheduled arrival time of the yacht. Guests who arrange their air travel through The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will have the yacht’s schedule taken into consideration.

Arrival times will vary by voyage and the port of departure. Generally, arrival day check-in will open for guests at 12:30 PM. Guests must be on board two hours prior to departure time.

DEPARTURE

On departure day, guests will normally be asked to depart their suites by 8:00 AM, which allows the yacht’s Ladies and Gentlemen to prepare for incoming guests. Departing guests are welcome to enjoy the public areas of the yacht while waiting to depart with the majority of services open for their comfort. Depending on the clearance from local authorities, guests can begin to depart the yacht between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM and must complete immigration by 9:00 AM in ports where this is a requirement. From the yacht’s gangway, guests are guided to the terminal to identify their luggage.

Guests should plan to be on board the yacht on the sailing date at least two hours prior to departure time. Prior to sailing, we ask guests to ensure they have received all medical inoculations necessary for the cruise. Passports are required for all guests boarding the yacht and must be valid for six months after the voyage’s completion date. In addition, guests should have in their possession visas and any other documents necessary for the scheduled ports of call and departure.

LUGGAGE POLICY You may bring a reasonable amount of luggage on the yacht without charge. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is not strict on baggage, however they recommend to keep within the limits of whatever your airline ticket allows; 30 kgs per person.

Insider Expeditions will send further information once access to the portal is open. All guests are required to supply their passport information and flight information minimum 30 days prior to the event in order to access the The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection online portal prior to boarding.

 

Passports are required for all guests boarding the yacht and must be valid for six months after the voyage’s completion date. Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match the name on your airline ticket or you may be denied boarding. Once on board the yacht, your passport will be collected at check-in and securely stored for the duration of the voyage.

Visa requirements and passport regulations vary by destination. We ask that guests obtain the appropriate and valid travel and health documents prior to sailing. Without such proper documentation, guests will not be allowed to board the yacht.

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUESTS Most dietary requests can be accommodated on board. Dietary preferences such as gluten free, low sodium, peanut allergies and more should be advised to Insider Expeditions 30 days prior to boarding.
Email and printing services are available from the Guest Services team 24 hours a day. Complimentary Unlimited Wi-Fi is provided for all guests wishing to send and receive emails, browse online and post photos to social media.

While Standard WIFI is included onboard, Enhanced Wi-Fi is available to guests for an additional $38 USD per day, per device and supports streaming services for up to four devices per suite.

Cash is not accepted for purchases on board the yacht. Most major credit cards are accepted and will be authorized upon check-in, and any onboard purchases will be charged in U.S. dollars to your onboard account and settled before final departure from the yacht.

The dress code on board the yacht reflects the luxury lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton and casual freedom of a yachting vacation. During the day for breakfast and lunch, the dress code is Yacht Casual, wherein shirts, shoes, and bathing suit cover-ups are required when not at the pool. During the evening, for dinner, bathing suits and sleeveless t-shirts are not permitted, and shirts and shoes are required throughout the yacht. 

For your convenience, 120-volt (U.S. voltage) and 230-volt (European voltage) outlets are provided in your suite and in public areas, accommodating small appliances without the use of adapters or electric converters. A hair dryer is provided in each suite. Your suite is also equipped with USB ports for charging purposes.
Gratuities for the Ladies and Gentlemen on board the yacht are included in your cruise fare. While customary, gratuities for salon services, spa treatments and shore excursions can be extended on a voluntary, individual basis.
The Guest Launderette is located on Deck 4 midship. Due to safety reasons, irons are not allowed in guest suites; however, the Guest Launderette features irons and steamers for guest use. A range of dry cleaning and laundry services are available upon request through our Suite Attendants at an additional cost.
Guests requiring special assistance while on board are asked to please notify Insider Expeditions customer service to arrange on your behalf with The Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection team.
