Dr. Rick Doblin
Rick Doblin, Ph.D., is the founder and president of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). His professional goal is to help develop legal contexts for the beneficial uses of psychedelics and marijuana, primarily as prescription medicines but also for personal growth for otherwise healthy people, and eventually to become a legally licensed psychedelic therapist. He founded MAPS in 1986, and currently resides in Boston with his wife and dog.
Paul Stamets
Paul Stamets is a renowned mycologist, author, medical researcher, and entrepreneur widely recognized as a leading voice in the world of fungi. He is the founder of Fungi Perfecti and Host Defense Mushrooms and the author of eight books, including his latest, Psilocybin Mushrooms in Their Natural Habitats (2025). His pioneering work has earned numerous honors, including recognition as one of the United Nations’ 100 Disruptors in 2025. Stamets was featured in the acclaimed documentary Fantastic Fungi and inspired the character Lt. Commander Paul Stamets, the astromycologist in Star Trek: Discovery.
Dr. Pamela Kryskow
Dr. Pamela Kryskow is a physician and clinical researcher focused on chronic pain, mental health, and psychedelic medicine. A founding member of the Psychedelic Association of Canada, she leads studies on psilocybin and ketamine therapies. Committed to holistic, evidence-based care, Dr. Kryskow is dedicated to advancing innovative treatments that enhance healing and quality of life.
