A central dimension of this program is the opportunity to learn from the Indigenous nations who safeguard the rainforest.
Through guided conversations, communal gatherings, and culturally significant practices, guests gain perspective on philosophies of reciprocity, environmental guardianship, and the interconnectedness of all living systems. These exchanges are offered with intention and respect, creating a space for learning rather than observation.
Peû Yawanawa
Peû is one of the main spiritual leaders of the new generation of the Yawanawa people. His path has been marked by a deep commitment to the sacred Samakei (diet), one of the highest spiritual initiations of his tradition, to which he dedicated many consecutive years.
During this period, he received direct teachings from great elder shamans, Yawarani and Tatá, whose wisdom continues alive through his lineage. From this coexistence, Peû consolidated a profound connection with sacred healing prayers, strengthening his role within the tradition.
Today, he is responsible for the preparation and guidance of the medicines at Aldeia Sagrada, playing a central role in the spiritual life of his community. In addition, he is a musician and has brought Yawanawa spirituality to different parts of the world, including Europe, North America, Central America, and Asia.
Ninawa Huni Kuin
Ninawa Huni Kuin is a respected Huni Kuin Indigenous and spiritual leader, shaman, activist, and advocate for Amazon conservation and Indigenous rights. Born in Huni Kuin territory in Acre, Brazil, he has served as president of the Federation of Huni Kuin Peoples of Acre (FEPHAC), representing communities across the region.
A keeper of ancestral knowledge, Ninawa shares Huni Kuin traditions, spirituality, plant knowledge, and ceremonial practices internationally. He has also played an important role in the contemporary ayahuasca movement, bringing greater recognition to its Indigenous origins and cultural significance.
His work bridges Indigenous rights, rainforest conservation, climate justice, cultural preservation, and the protection of ancestral knowledge.
YKASHAHU YAWANAWA
Yka is the middle daughter of Chief Nixiwaka Biraci Brasil and Putanny Yawanawa. From a very young age, Ykashahu followed in her parents’ footsteps, studying the spiritual wisdom of her people and dedicating herself to music and singing. Her voice has a power like no other, moving with a profound healing quality. She represents the talented younger generation of the Yawanawa, as well as the incredible feminine power of the tribe. Yka has traveled throughout Brazil and abroad representing the culture of her people.
XINÄYURA YAWANAWA
Xinãyura, son of Chief Nixiwaka, joins this entourage to support his father and sisters. With a very cheerful spirit, Xinãyura sings and enchants by playing and singing along with his family.
Nawashahu & Ykashahu
Nawashahu is the eldest daughter of Putanny and Biraci Nixiwaka, raised with the purpose of becoming a leader of her people. Nawa and her sister Ykashahu have dedicated themselves deeply to the study of Yawanawa spirituality, undertaking sacred diets with the elders and constantly seeking to learn from the village leaders.
The sisters are guardians of this ancestral knowledge, as well as highly talented singers who have accompanied their parents in spiritual work and travels outside the villages since a very young age.
They have two original albums released on Spotify. Today, they continue spreading the beauty of their spiritual lineage through breathtaking musical creations filled with beauty and rhythm.

Dr. Rick Doblin
Rick Doblin, Ph.D., is the founder and president of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). His professional goal is to help develop legal contexts for the beneficial uses of psychedelics and marijuana, primarily as prescription medicines but also for personal growth for otherwise healthy people, and eventually to become a legally licensed psychedelic therapist. He founded MAPS in 1986, and currently resides in Boston with his wife and dog.
Paul Stamets
Paul Stamets is a renowned mycologist, author, medical researcher, and entrepreneur widely recognized as a leading voice in the world of fungi. He is the founder of Fungi Perfecti and Host Defense Mushrooms and the author of eight books, including his latest, Psilocybin Mushrooms in Their Natural Habitats (2025). His pioneering work has earned numerous honors, including recognition as one of the United Nations’ 100 Disruptors in 2025. Stamets was featured in the acclaimed documentary Fantastic Fungi and inspired the character Lt. Commander Paul Stamets, the astromycologist in Star Trek: Discovery.
Dr. Pamela Kryskow
Dr. Pamela Kryskow is a physician and clinical researcher focused on chronic pain, mental health, and psychedelic medicine. A founding member of the Psychedelic Association of Canada, she leads studies on psilocybin and ketamine therapies. Committed to holistic, evidence-based care, Dr. Kryskow is dedicated to advancing innovative treatments that enhance healing and quality of life.

British documentary filmmaker Lucy Walker has explored the science, history, and therapeutic potential of psychedelics through major documentary projects, including Netflix’s How to Change Your Mind and her feature-length project on ibogaine Of Night and Light: The Story of Iboga and Ibogaine.
Norman Ohler
Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D
Medical anthropologist Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Andes for over 25 years. He founded the Four Winds Society, which trains students in energy medicine and modern shamanism rooted in ancient wisdom and cutting-edge neuroscience.
In his mid-20s, Villoldo was a clinical professor at San Francisco State University, where he founded the Biological Self-Regulation Lab to study how the mind changes brain chemistry. Seeking deeper answers, traded his lab coat for hiking boots, and traveled to the Amazon.
There, he discovered “Earth Keepers” — shamans practicing a 5,000-year-old energy medicine that creates the conditions for health, silencing the genes responsible for cancer, heart disease, and dementia. Over two decades, he learned that we are enveloped by a Luminous Energy Field that governs our wellbeing.
He has been a visiting professor at the University of California and Columbia University and is Fellow at the Explorer´s Club. Alberto is author of more than 25 international bestselling books including Grow a New Body and The Mystical Shaman Oracle.

Frankko Vivo
Frankko Vivo is a visionary artist, musician, sculptor, and researcher of shamanic traditions. His work explores the relationship between consciousness, nature, music, and sacred geometry, drawing from years of artistic practice, travel, and deep engagement with shamanic cultures and traditions.
For more than thirteen years, Frankko has been creating a living temple in the mountains of Brazil, where art, music, nature, and spiritual exploration come together. His musical work and visual art emerge from the same inquiry: exploring altered states of consciousness, the intelligence of nature, and the deeper patterns of existence.
Adrian Jusdanis: New Thousand Band
Adrian Jusdanis trained classically but broke away from traditional boundaries to create a high-energy sound that blends virtuoso violin playing with trap beats, hip-hop, house, and blues.He founded New Thousand (formerly New Thousand Band) as a street-performing unit. The project gained massive popularity through raw, high-energy busking performances on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, before transitioning to the subways and public squares of New York City (such as Union Square).
Jusdanis builds entire tracks from scratch on stage by recording and looping layers of violin melodies, basslines, and beats in real time. Today, he tours festivals and venues across the United States, transforming acoustic traditions into a modern electronic dance experience.
